Is mentoring right for everyone?
Did you know that more than 80 percent of the people that trade stocks without first seeing a mentor end up losing their account at some point? Reading books and the Internet are helpful but they can only give you so much information. You must realize that you are up against some of the best minds in the business and if you enter the fray without sound knowledge and a solid understanding of what you are doing you are at a distinct disadvantage. The little money you spend now can save you, or make you, thousands of dollars down the road.
What I am offering you is an opportunity to take a highly intensive course in the stock market. My course will prepare you to understand the markets and by the time we are done you will feel more confident about when and where to invest your money. Knowing when to get in and get out can make all the difference between banking a profit or taking a loss.
How long does the mentorship take to complete?
In just a few intense days of education I can open your eyes to the type of financial security that only comes from knowing where and how your money should be invested. When you know what to look for and how to apply the principles of trading you can use that knowledge in all aspects of your finances. Whether it's for long term investments or day trading profits the education I offer gives you the knowledge you need to succeed.
Why should I mentor with you if I already have a regular stock broker or money manager?
The one thing people need to understand is that I am not in the least bit interested in taking your money and investing it for you. I am a trading educator and I'm only interested in teaching my students how to read charts and become more market savvy so they can make their own investing decisions. One thing I've learned when talking to people is that no one cares more about your money than you do. So why are people so quick to give their hard earned money to someone else to take care of? Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against stock brokers or money managers if they are taking care of your money properly but when my friends were telling me their stories about how they had lost 30% or more in their retirement accounts the past two years the only thing I could think of was one question. Who was taking care of your money? The huge drop in the markets was NO surprise to us traders so why couldn't the 'educated' money managers see it coming as well? I can educate you on how to recognize certain trends, formations, patterns, and what they all mean in the context of the markets and that can help you better allocate your own money to different funds which, in the long run, could prove very beneficial to your overall value when you retire. If there's one thing people should have learned the past two years concerning their retirement accounts it's the old adage 'trust but verify'. Do I have to take money out of my retirement accounts to use your mentoring education?
No. It's not necessary to move your money out of any of your accounts to make use of my mentoring education. The funds you have invested with your particular money manager are all put into 'portfolios'. What most people don't know or are never told is that each one of these portfolios has a 'stock ticker' assigned to them. You can call your investment firm and ask them for the tickers to their different funds. You can then go online and view the charts for these different funds and portfolios. If you know what to look for and how to read those charts you can then make an educated decision for yourself on when to get out of or move into more conservative or aggressive funds. That allows you to then sit down with your money manager and discuss what's best for your money. I'm already trading stocks on my own but I'm not consistently profitable. How can you help me?
I am not aware of a single trader that was able to reach the next level or go to full time trading without sitting with a mentor. The ability to learn how to put it all together and make sense of the charts is a must if one is to survive in the trading world. I can give you a very clear cut and simple process for finding the best and most tradable stocks. While I'm more slanted to the technical analysis side of trading I also use fundamental trading when looking for the stocks I play. I can show you how to find the most fundamentally strong stocks to watch which, in turn, will give you the highest probability of a profitable trade. It may also be that you're simply hitting on four of your eight cylinders so while you're doing some things right there are other weaknesses that are preventing you from taking the next step. I can help you isolate where your weaknesses are and give you step by step corrections to help you move forward.
I've never traded stocks before and don't know much about the markets. What's my first step?
You don't have to have any experience in the markets to attend my mentoring classes. I move at your pace and will talk with you before we begin about what your level of knowledge is prior to getting into the lessons. I would, however, highly recommend you start with my trading basics page and familiarize yourself with the basics of trading before considering my mentoring classes. Watch the videos and see if it's something that really interests you. If the basics make sense to you and the concepts are easy to grasp then the next thing I would suggest you do is simply contact me and let's chat for a while about what your goals are and if there's a match. Mentoring may not be for everyone and I'd rather we both discover that before we start the lessons as opposed to there being regrets afterwards.
What if I don't like the mentoring classes or realize they're not for me after we've started?
I give all of my students the option, after the first day, to stop the mentoring classes and I'll refund their money (minus the small deposit) if they are not completely satisfied with the education they're getting. I do this because I know that even after the first day of classes you'll be a more confident trader and you'll feel like you have a better grasp on how to read charts and understand the moves of the markets.
I'm interested in trading full time. Is it possible to use trading as a primary source of income?
Absolutely, but you must remember that trading full time is like any other business, it takes work. I'm very passionate about this subject and hence have committed and entire page to discussing this topic. Please click here to read more about trading as a full time endeavor.
Is mentoring right for everyone?
Trading stocks can be a very lucrative business but there is also risk involved. Discipline and an ability to control your own emotions are a key factor in how a person does in the stock world. This business is not for everyone so before you begin this exciting endeavor please contact me and let's setup a time to sit down and discuss if it's right for you.
