Free Market Video April 11 2011

April 11 – Markets start the week in a continued pullback even with a drop in gold and oil. The VIX didn’t give us any kind of confirmation either as it also fell today. This behavior can represent that even though the markets are moving down the fear is still overall absent from an investors perspective. If the bears want a chance at something bigger they need to get started in the next couple of days or the bulls will take over again.

Free Market Video April 8 2011

April 8 – The move this afternoon didn’t result in anything special as the markets only finished slightly down for the week. The buyers have done an excellent job of keeping their move in a very strong position coming into the weekend. The consolidation has been basically a week long and so a larger move should occur early next week but there’s no real indication as to which way that will be. Levels of support and resistance are still holding well for both sides.

April 7 – This is getting ridiculous. I’m not asking one side or the other to take over but can we at least get the markets to MOVE? Is that too much to ask for? This consolidation is getting very tedious as we have spent all week wandering in a pretty tight trading range. The plays on some individual stocks have been good from the subscribers video such as SYK, Oil, and Gold but outside of that there’s not been a whole lot to talk about.

April 5 – The markets keep trying to push above the upper resistance levels and they just can’t seem to make any of the moves stick. We are jammed into a pretty tight trading range now and a break should happen in the next day or two. Make sure you have your entry levels set and wait for one side or the other to make their move.

April 4 – A very lazy Monday to kick the new week off as we continue to wait for the market to give us some kind of direction. Some nice moves again on the individual stocks in my newsletter but not much from the Indices themselves. AAPL continues its drop and is very weak compared to the overall markets while the financials remain stagnant.

April 1 – Sorry everyone! I did this video yesterday and forgot to post it. The bulls were once again relentless as we finished the week strong yet again despite the move down at the end of the day. I don’t think that is an indication of anything at this point except that some bulls were smart enough to take profits after a two and a half week run. Just looking at a chart of the past two weeks makes my legs tired so I can’t imagine what the bulls are feeling.
