Feb 15 – The move down in the markets was once again very muted and without much backing. At this point it’s yet another pullback lending itself to a further push up in the markets. The bears are going to have to find some strong momentum to change the bias in the markets right now. I don’t see this constant push up necessarily as a lot of ‘strength by the bulls’ so much as I see it as a lack of strength by the bears. It’s almost as though the markets are moving up because the sellers are too chicken to make a real move for fear of getting their paws slapped…..again. Look for a tradable move in the next couple of days.

Feb 14 – Apparently everyone was out on a date for Valentine’s Day. A very slow start to the new week as the markets wander sideways for the day. So far these consolidations have led to nothing but higher prices but morning gaps one way or the other may offer opportunities to the day traders out there. At the end of this video I show the actual video concerning the picks from the subscribers video last week where we traded AIRM, BAX, CF, and EDU for some very nice profits.

Feb 13 – Entering another Options Expiration week usually means there will be a few days of volatility within the markets but, as we’ve seen with the many other Op Ex weeks the bulls usually end up on the winning end of it by the end of the week. Until proven otherwise we need to stay with that course. In this video I’ve also included what my subscribers and I followed last week in terms of individual stock trades. AIRM, BAX, CF, and EDU were all part of profits we made. This included giving them entries, stops, and potential target areas for their profits.

Feb 11 – And yet another strong week for the bulls. It’s getting harder and harder to find anyone with any kind of a strong bearish sentiment right now in the markets and why not? There’s been no real reason to do anything but….dare I say it again…..buy the dips! With what appears to be strong support below them the bulls took the week again with what turned out to be a pretty good move by the end of it. Next week starts another Options Expiration week so be prepared for some volatility in the markets. Here’s the market wrap up for the week.

Feb 10 – How many times can we possibly say ‘buy the dips’ in a certain time period? I think it would be possible to use it most every day the past few months! Today did end with a bit more fighting at the close and AAPL took a beating mid day. The markets truly are stuck in a grind right here as investors try to decide which moves to take next.

Bernanke spoke and we saw a bit of a pullback today in the markets. The bears were licking their chops in the hopes that this will finally be ‘the one’ but we’ve seen this scenario a LOT the past few weeks/months and guess what happened? Yep….another ‘buy the dip’ rally at the end of the day. We didn’t hear a whole lot of positive things today but the market hasn’t really cared what the news does or does not say so let’s see if the charts will continue to lead the way. On a side note some of my individual picks for the subscribers are working out VERY this week so while the markets didn’t move a whole lot today there were some stocks that moved quite well. With entry and stop prices given to them it made for some good trading.

Two days in a row of bullish sentiment after the consolidation we saw at the end of last week. The moves are slowing down each day but the sideways movement that happens after a couple of days of upwards action is only giving the bulls time to rest before they push onward.

Feb 06 – Last week ended in a slow move upwards and that usually means a little larger move is in the cards in the near future. Monday’s typically start pretty well and the way the markets closed Friday there’s no reason to be overly bearish into Monday and Tuesday.

Feb 04 – Markets ended the week in a very routine manner….wander sideways and then pop up at the end of the day. Last Friday left the bears with at least a little bit of hope coming into this week but Monday and especially Tuesday changed that sentiment quickly. Now the direction is that which we’ve seen time and time again. Upwards, but ever so slowly.

Feb 02 – Markets going nowhere as the SPX consolidates above the 1300 mark. Very common following a large move. We’ve seen this all before, though, and it’s the bulls that make the best of it so no reason to change things up now. Watch for new breaks to the upside to happen in the next day or so if the bears don’t step in and take this market back below the 1300 area. On a side note I will be in Dallas this weekend for the Super Bowl!
